i know this sounds stupid, but I live at june lake california, and I have a snow machine that uses about 100 gallons of water per minute. If I put the snow machines fire hose into the lake, and leave it on overnight, will it drain the lake to where you would notice it. I calculated that it will use 120,000 gallons of water for the amount of time I wish to leave it on.no it won't but if you leave it in 67 hours it will drain the lake!
just leave it there for a half hour and it will bring you 12 inches of snow.
