Why INDIA doesn't perform well in olympics????

India's bringing up of new talents is faulty at root level. Education is given more importance than sports.

India lacks sports facilities. Its Government responsibilities for this. Government does not follow sports very well. So those performers lacks good coaches and physio. As of this result, India did not perform very well in Olympics. But I am happy with India's three medals. I wished India do perform more well to earn more medals.

interesting question: perhaps there is one other question every indian should ask themselves, "is there any other sport that they watch with passion other than cricket:"
for a person to perform well in the olympics it requires some serious hardwork, tremendous determination and the most important: adequate training.
1. in India, there are no proper training facilities for any other sport other than cricket (simply because the sports authority knows money is there only in cricket)
2. we never encourage sports from childhood.
3. we never provide incentives for people at state or district levels to encourage them to play sports
hence we donot have enough medals even though we have the 2nd largest population in the world

every single medal won in this olympics, the credit should go to the people who played against all odds, evidenced by the wrestlers living as 20 people in one room

Because the chinese curry wasn't as good as indian curry

1)Lack of Planning & Management.
2)Dumb IOA.
3)Less encouragement for sports except cricket.
4)No sponsors,advertisements.
5)Last but not least no audience.......... so sports person are not interested to perform without audience...........so total failure

Because they never has to walk with all them flying carpets over there. and plus the smartest ones are here at 7-11

India doesnt have those good training facilities like we or some other countries do. plus there arent that many good trainers. and indian culture isnt really sports...

They just can't do sports. Its all in their genes and culture. But they can talk, thats why so many are lawyers..

It is not a matter of performance, but a matter of awards.
The Award Committee, this time, was not enough educated to conduct a performance assessment and verification. The blame came to your team. Play well next time and I wish you best of luck.
After all if all others are well-performed, why should India perform well? We like enjoy more than to perform and make others enjoy.
