Why do people assume this forum is for Christians to discuss god and jesus?
What about buddhism??? most buddhist are atheists!
Why is there constant questions on here asking why we are here?
We like to discuss topics on Religion and Spirituality!! Simple as that!!
Oh and we also like to lighten things up around here, so all you report monkeys...lighten up!!! Stop getting your knickers in a knot!I think we are asked why you here question, because the perfect little belief world of theists are shattered when people of different beliefs can challenge their views. They see the challenges as an affront to their holy belief system that should not be allowed.I love discussing religion. Most religious people don't realize that many atheists are ex-religious people. Many christians I know, don't know half as much about the bible as I do.Many of us get many messages in our lives, or think we get them. As long as the message is regarding our own selves, go on doing what you please. But when it is in regard to our contact with and behavior to others, think a hundred times before you act upon itâ ”and then you will be safe.
Yeah I think its the new people, who expect this to be a lot of religious people arguing which god is real. I was suprised when I first came on that its mostly is god real or not.Because it seem, the religious are missing the first words of this section

and, DO NOT make connectionThey seem to be confused between a section for the religious and spiritual, and a section about the subject of religion and spirituality.I think it's because new people come here all of the time and they wonder why people who claim that they don't believe in God would take an interest in religion or spirituality.
Of course, it's rather difficult to believe that there are any true atheists. There was a meeting of atheists where the speaker blasphemed God and gave Him 3 minutes to prove He existed by striking the speaker dead. They waited for 3 minutes and when the time had elapsed the speaker triumphantly declared that he had proved that God didn't exist. One of the attendees said he realized that he was in a group of hypocrites because everyone had been waiting to see if anything would happen or not.I imagine people come on here expecting to find a Bible study group rather than a place that includes people of all different beliefs.You rock! =)

but they're only intimidating themselves.
They also like to say: "Why would atheists be offended by something they don't believe exist? [referring to God]"
