  • Who do you think is the best player in the NHL? Why?


  • In my opinion that would be malkin! I am a thrashers fan so i am not byist. Crosby was hurt most of the year last year, who steeped up? Malkin, without him the pens might not have made the playoffs let alone get the the cup final. granted he did not do anything in the playoffs i still think he is the best. if you where looking for sheer skill then no dought Crosby is the best. but as of last year i think malkin was the best.

  • Alexander Ovechkin is the best player.
    He brings an overall skill to the game that you don't see in any other players. He can score, he can move the puck, and he can hit. Sidney Crosby is a great player, who is more skilled than Ovechkin in some ways, but he doesn't bring the physical element that Ovechkin showed at the end of the last season.

    /Calgary fan... I want to say Iginla, but I'll argue him for best captain!
