thanksusually at your 2nd scan at about 20-21 weeksThey say that a woman can find out gender between 16-20 weeks. The optimal time to find out is between 18 and 26 weeks. I go in tomorrow to find out and i will be 17 weeks:)You could find the sex of the baby mostly around the 16th week and up! I found out mine at 17 weeks! I found out with my oldest around 16 weeks, but most of the time and with this pregnancy I found out around 20 weeks... good luck!most times 20 weeks! i found out at 20 weeks...By 20 weeks you will be able to find out. Maybe 18 weeks or so is possible, but by 20 weeks its fairly accurate. The waiting game is the worst.I found out at my 20 week ultrasound.Unlike the other answers technically the baby's vagina or penis is formed during the 10th week. So a sonogram can pick up the sex of the baby when you are 12wks and that's if the baby lets you take a peak. I had both of my children's sonograms at 14wks and they were right. i had my 20 wk scan 2 wks ago and found out im having a girl, fingers crossd it right coz there is 20% chance there wrong, hasnt stopped me buying everything pink!! I found out around 16wks and 6days and then the doctor went back to confirm it when I was 18wks and 3days.18 weeks is usually the earliest they can say for sure.
