which phase of ventricular myocyte AP would you expect to be most affected by verapamil and why? Im having trouble understanding the effects of this drug, i know it blocks CA channles on cardiac cells, but what does that do to your HR. Does it have anything to do with the SA nodal cells? Please Help!!You've went way beyond my medical understanding but....
my cardiologist gives me Verapamil to slow my heart rate.
