  • well im not sure if this is gonna help you. But check out http://www.3jam.com site which enable you to send free sms worldwide.


  • Do you need to receive or just send?

    Because if you just need to send most mobile characters have an email address that forwards to phones.

    For example, if you send an email to xxxxxxxxxx@vtext.com (replace the x's with the 10 digit phone number of a Verizon Wireless customer) it is forwarded as an sms to that number.

    Edit: Wikipedia has a long list of the email addresses for different carriers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMS_gateways (and also has some information on sending info the other way.. phone->email)
