Smokey (Again)

  • Smokey is a very intelligent, pensive cat. I think it comes across in this portrait. Fujichrome 100, shot w/ Nikon FE2 & Nikkor 135 f/3.5. SB600 flash bounced off the ceiling. Digitized using Nikon Coolscan V.

    The 135 lens gives a very nice bokeh, I think...

    I would move the blue pillow though, its a little distracting.

    Thanks! I noticed the slight blur also. It might be a bit of shake, though unlikely with a strobe (and it looks more like focus to me). I'll check the slide. Something might have happened in the scan. Of course, I've gotten used to AF and this was when I was just getting out my old equipment again...

    Low light makes manual focus a bit difficult!
