I have a Nokia 9210 and I want to upgrade to something better.
I'm searching for a good *GSM* cellular phone solution with these
requisites:
1) Physical qwerty keyboard;
2) GPRS + Bluetooth (or Wi-Fi);
3) Total size/weight no more of that of my Nokia 9210 (id est
158x56x27mm, 244gr). It must be containable in a pocket;
5) Good audio capabilities (unlimited lenght of recording, playback,
and possibly editing audio (eventually buying/adding a third-part
prog. if necessary);
6) Good hand-free speaker (not ear-phone);
7) Color display with a resolution higher of 320x240 (ex. my Nokia
9210 is 640x240);
8) Very good web browser (Opera is ok. Necessary: Javascript, frames,
pull-down menu and principal web objects support).
If you know or find a device that DON'T satisfy all requisites please
answer as comment only.
Thanks to all!
Diego SalaThank you Mike for the comment.
for coincidence I bought a 9210i yesterday, mainly because it has a
bigger intenal memory and it's about 30% faster than the 9210.
The 9210i is not very useful because it still doesn't have the GPRS
capability.
Here in Italy we have a $30/month GPRS (30-50kbps) flat with unlimited
traffic. GSM (9,6kbps) costs $0,10/minute instead. The difference is
enormous!
Perhaps the smartphone I'll buy in the near future will be the
Handspring Treo 600.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
