Rally 2 -- 2 GB "Read-Only"???

  • I have a Rally 2 (2 GB), that reports to the OS as read-only. I am unable to modify this setting and, of course, cannot modify or delete the data on the drive.

    I would like to have this drive replaced, but I am concerned since I have personal data on the drive, and would prefer not to return the drive with that data intact.

    Suggestions?

  • Have you tried to format the drive? I don't know of any ways to erase data from flash drives when they are in this state. Send me an email and we'll work something out
