OUT LEARN REFUSED TCP Disable all activity for iexplore.exe because it run hidden

  • I get the message

OUT LEARN REFUSED Disable all activity for iexplore.exe because it run hidden

in the network activity log against IE, which would explain why it wasn't connecting to the web sites. This is clear, what I don't understand is why i get this message since I don't *think* that it was running hidden.

Can anyone enlighten me as to why this should be?

    Thanks in anticipation.

  • Check for applications calling IE. For example, I had an app checking for it's update and 't was using IE running it in the background.
