New Mini Kart 2gb and Vista

  • Evening,

    Just bought a 4gb rally along with a 2gb mini kart for work use. Rally worked straight off however im having issues with the kart.

    Plugged it in and is shows as a removable disk on drive F (USBest USB2FlashStorage USB Device)

    Now when I double click the new drive it tells me to insert a disk into the removable drive :scratch: right click and format tells me the same. Properties says its an unknown file system with 0 bytes.

    Tried FORMATv3017A.exe, it shows the USBest device but doing anything in the program it freezes and Vista says 'FORMAT MFC' has stopped working, even tried running as administrator and setting compatibility with xp.

    Have also tried the device in 2 other USB ports.

    Any ideas?


  • Were the other 2 USB ports on another computer? Give it a try in another computer. If it doesn't work there you should get your shop to replace it for you.
