so about 2 weeks ago i went to the doctors after having a veyr bad cold to a nasty cough and the doctor said it was the start to gettign phnemonia and put me on the z pack. didnt work much and i know have come to the conclusion that iv had walking pnemonia the whole time have the EXACT sypptoms from not being able to lay down without cough up a lung to have the cold liek symptoms and the cough that wont go away and it has been almost a month now. i have been off the z pack for about a week now. Is it nesscary to go back to the doctors or can this heal itself?You need to go back to the doctor and let him/her see that you are not getting better. Sometimes all it takes is a different antibiotic. You are rolling the dice when guessing whether it will heal itself. It can happen, but at this point, it doesn't sound as though it's going to happen for you.You definitely need to go back to doctor for two reasons:
let then know you are no longer taking your medicine
let him know symptoms not getting better.
The fact they not getting better is the most important point you make here as the symptoms could be an indication of an underlying issue such as glandular fever, low white blood count, immune deficiency etc etc ...
Go back and take a written list of ALL YOUR SYMPTOMS not just the general ones.I am not trying to scare you but I had a relative who was treated for almost a year for a "pulled muscle" in her back to only find out she had lung cancer. By that time it treatment was just a stall tactic to death.
Demand chest x-rays and get a 2nd or 3rd opinion form a pulmonary specialist. My advice to you is do not go to doctor. Practice breathing exercise (Pranayamam) daily for 15 minutes. Try to learn yoga exercise. Morning walk is good to avoid any kind of disease. #If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
