Is there protein in moose meat?

  • someone told me there is NOT and i just cant believe them someone please tell me there honestly is! my 5 year old very picky daughter doesn't normally eat meat good for me but she seemed to like the moose meat. and our friend gave us a lot. so i just have to know i normally don't ask such stupid questions its just if there's not any in it i don't want to make a big meal out of it i would need to add other protein thank you!

  • yes there most certianly is, otherwise a moose would have some very large health concerns. there is also alot of protien in peanutbutter, and potatoes if you are concerned with your daughters eating habits, tuna fish is packed with it too, as is chicken. overall yes wild game is packed with proteins, vitamins, and nutrients, nothing wrong with a child eating a lot of it

  • Two simple words can help you out here:
    "Google it."
How many times have I told people that,
    before?

Wow! I earned to points for asking a question!
    That's a first!

Anyway, let me know what you find out. I've
never eaten Bullwinkle before. What does he
    taste like?

  • Of course there is protein in moose meat.

any muscle animal is considered protein

  • There is protein in anything with flesh, including red meat, fish, chicken, pork, alligator, horse, cat, and yes, even moose. Beans have protein too in case you were wondering.

If you eat beans, squash, and corn together it makes a complete protein similar to that of meat if your daughter is just dead set against meat.

  • meat is protein, regardless of if it is chicken, deer, beef, etc. . . . Yes
