Is it possible to play from the favorites menu?
I am new to XBMC and love it. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and don't know how I ever lived without it.
I would like to know if there is a way to play something directly from the favorites menu. For instance, if I put a music playlist in the favorites menu, I would like to be able to play directly from the menu without clicking on the playlist and then clicking to play once the playlist has been displayed.
Is there an option to do this?
Thanks.
If there is no option then you can always manually add it by editing the favorites.xml file in the UserData folder.

I have the May 7th SVN of XBMC and I have already added things to the favorites menu. I want to be able to select a playlist in the favorites menu and click something to make it play without actually viewing the playlist first.
Right now, all I have figured out is that I can click on the playlist which takes me to the contents of that playlist. Then from that screen I can choose to play the playlist.
Is there a way to play a playlist directly from the favorites menu without first viewing the contents of the playlist?
Thanks.
Here is a general shortcut in the favorites I made for the MS dash
Now, using that format to play media... playlist etc.
Does this help at all?
If I understand the question correctly it is.
If a playlist has already been added to the favourites, can it be run from there to automatically play the contents?
Currently it seems selecting it from favourites runs the playlist view, without actually starting playback.
It probably needs a code level change, but I will leave it to the devs to give the final word.
