i buy beetroot in the packet they come in balls (not slices) and theres roughly 10 balls in each packet ( each balls the size if a ping pong ball) is it bad for me to eat a whole packet a day I reckon its good for you...a bit unusual I grant you to eat that much, but hey whatever rocks your boat!I grow it, and usually grow too much so I probably eat that amount, if not more.I'm sure you'll be fine.Just remember that you've eaten it when you go to the toilet or you'll get a big shock!I don't think it's a bad thing, but you will get a shock when you use the toilet! All will be red! x xNo. It's actually good for you.
Here's some nutritional info:
An average size cup of beetroot would contain approximately 31 food calories; 8.5g of carbohydrate, 1.5g of dietary fiber, phosphorous, potassium and 1.5g of protein. Cooked beetroot is a great source of folate that can protect you against high blood pressure, Alzheimerâ ™s and dementia.Beetroot naturally contains a lot of bioflavinoids which are good for you in moderate doses, and sugar which is not (it's basically the same plant as sugar beet). If the ones you're eating are pickled baby beets, they also contain a lot of salt. If they are pickled, I suggest you stick to one a day. If they are raw, two a day.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
