Inserting Images from files

  • Can I insert more than one image at the same time in an Word document?

With the "insert image from file" I can only insert one image "per action".

  • What does it mean to "make them all the same dimension?" If one picture is 200x200 pixels and another is 300x200, what do you expect to do?

In any case, select one picture, turn on the macro recorder, make the desired formatting change and turn off the recorder. Post the code here and someone should be able to help you enhance it to work on all pictures. When posting code, click the '#' button at the top of the posting form, then paste the code, then click the 'Close Current Tag' button.

  • Is it possible?

    Thanks!

  • I tried in Office XP and it worked.

But it doesn't work in my Office 2000.

Now is it possible to format all the pictures at the same time, for example, changing the dimension for al the pictures at the same time?

  • I just clicked and dragged two pictures from my desktop into my Word document, and they show up as images.

How often do you do this, and how many pictures each time?

  • what version of word?

  • you could drag them from an explorer window, but that may have limitations - like distortion.

  • If I insert the images from the explorer, I will have only icons of "images" on the document.

How can I make appear the images, and not the icons (with the file name)?
