Hey all, I am working out a story here and I want to set it somewhere in Mexico or South America. The story is about how a missonary comes to town and he sorta creates chaos with his views and ruins several lives. Now, the city itself is somewhat violent already but not on a large scale. So, I'm looking for either a city, word, or something to really describe the aftermath (the city goes into ruins by the end) and what the city would be known for rather than what it was or is before the missonary comes to the city or town.
