You can't go wrong with jeans and a sweater.Never heard of "Decades Day" before myself but I guess you're referring to the 40's, 50's. 60's etc. The 70's ae very popular right now especially with the Life on Mars TV series. As well as jeans, preferably bell bottoms and a peasant blouse I would throw on some long beads and open toed sandals.I think my nephew had to do this. You are supposed to dress up in a particular decade's style right?
You should definately do the 80's. Tightroll your jean ( ask your mom), Wear a ponytail on one side of your head, and wear the longest, ugliest and brightest colored shirt you can find.
Or think Madonna and go all trashy.
Have fun!you could weave some mini vegetables into your hair and glue mushrooms all over your face.

Never heard of it but since it's posted under this category I would suggest a nice shirt (blouse, sweater, something just not a graphic or regular everyday tshirt) and either black pants or khakis.
