How to enable social bookmarks & showing full profile stats to guests?

  • Hi,

Thank you VBulletin Team for great work on 3.7 and your efforts to give us this great software.

I would like to ask u several questions:

    1. Where do I give the guests full view of the new member profile site? When they are logged in they can see the full profile statistics and info but not guests.

    2. How and where do I enable bookmarking for Digg, Google and Delicious?

    3. Is there any where in the forum I can see where in admincp I can experiment with all new functions in the new 3.7?

    Regards

  • Check the usergroup permissions of your Unregistered/Not Logged-In group (or whatever you named your group for Guests) to see if they can view the profile information you wish them to be able to see.

Open the vBulletin Options tab in the side-panel of your ACP and go to Social Bookmarking Manager. Since they aren't displaying to you they should be globally disabled; follow the link at the top of the page and it will take you to the area in vBulletin Options to turn it on.

You can edit the settings for the numerous new features of 3.7 in many places inside the ACP; there are new side-panel tabs, settings added to previous pages, and so-on. Go exploring and find what you want to find.
