Help! Outpost 2 lags my system

Hi all, i have a problem.. i'm running Outpost 2 and with a certain p2p in the background and after more than 10hrs of uptime.. i found out that Outpost 2 has a VERY high cpu usage and my system became sluggish.. but once i had OP2 shutdown, my system was back smooth, anybody has any solution to my problem? any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are a few things suggested there, may be worth a look...

I tried setting those settings. But with eMule running with 500 simultaneous connections for 1-2hrs, OP2's cpu usage increased to alot, making the system sluggish. I did not have that problem last time round with the same amount of connections... dunno screw up which part.. can anyone help?
