Have U seen the "Obama's Plan for America" channel?

  • Any one have any thoughts on how that's being paid for? Or just thoughts on the channel itself or his "plan"?

  • I am changing my Tv service on Thursday. Dish-network decided to sell him the channel or airtime. That in itself is not that huge of a deal, because McCain could have done the same. Except that Obama went back on his promise to accept election funding, got way more money from fund raising and can definitely outspend McCain in that area.

    The problem I have with this channel and Dish-network is that one day last week something went wrong and that was the ONLY channel I had reception on. No matter what channel I pressed, it kept defaulting to Obama. Also, they got a link going that if you press 'select' while an Obama commercial is running on one of the regular channels, it will take you straight to Obama's.

    So they are now history in my house. I already lived in a communist country. I don't want to be told what and when I can watch something.

    He collected like 400 million, 200 of which is at question as to where it came from

    With donations that his campaign raised. McCain was offered the same opportunity to get a channel too, but they do not have any plans or ideas to broadcast. Plus, his campaign is running low on funds.

  • a. he is going to redirect the focus in the war on terror so it ends sooner. (10billion a month after the war is over) and he is going to nagociate for iraq to help us finance the war.

    b. he is going to tax large corporations that ship jobs over seas.(100billion in taxes)

    c. he's going to raise taxes on people who make over 250k a year

    d. he is going to invest this money saved in new technologies that will keep us from buying oil and save even more money in the long run.

    the McCain camp says he has all this new spending but they don't mention it's over the course of ten years and that its actually less then we spend in ten years. They also mislead people into thinking that he wants to give collage money away to people that don't deserve it, but what he is doing is giving collage grants to volunteers in the piece corps, in hospitals, and nursing homes so that the army isn't the only chance that the less fortunate and middle class Americans that can afford to collage, can. the channel is being paid for with donations. how else?

  • Yes, I've seen it on Dish Network. It's another way for Obama to continue to brainwash his cult followers. He has to keep them in line until the election. I find it completely controlling.
