Get error when I upgrade from 3.71 to 3.71pl1

  • I'm getting extremely frustrated with this situation. I've upgraded my software numerous times in the past. Every time is the same. Why is this time different?!?!?

    when I run the upgrade script I get:

    ==========*/ ?>==========*/ ?>=========*/ ?>================================================== =============*/ ?> ==========*/ ?>==========*/ ?>==========*/ ?>=========*/ ?>
    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/7845/domains/theknifefight.net/html/forums/includes/class_core.php:3306) in /home/7845/domains/theknifefight.net/html/forums/includes/functions.php on line 2991

    /install/upgrade.php is just a white page with that notice on it.

    :mad:

  • You don't need to run the upgrade script to upgrade from 3.7.1 to 3.7.1PL1. From the notice (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=274882):
    Upgrading from 3.7.1 or 3.6.10

    If you are already running 3.7.1 or 3.6.10, the process you will be required to follow to make your board immune to the XSS problem is very simple. Visit the Patches section of the vBulletin Members' Area (http://members.vbulletin.com/patches.php) and download either the patch for 3.7.1, or the patch for 3.6.10, according to the version you are currently running, then extract the files from the archive you downloaded, then upload the files to your board via FTP etc., overwriting the existing files. This will update your version to the PL1 release.

    There is no need to run an upgrade script if you are already running 3.7.1 or 3.6.10.

  • You've got badly uploaded files still, try and reupload the files again.

  • I take it back. It still doesn't work. I went back to 3.71 and then uploaded all the files for 3.71pl and it still messed up my site. :mad:

    I can't even access the admin panel when using it.

    I get this just looking at the index.php

    Unable to add cookies, header already sent.
