G8 countries -- find number of companies with 10,000 or more employees

  • I'm trying to find the number of companies in each of the following countries that has 10,000 or more employees. Can anyone help me identify the potential sources of this information? Countries: UK, Germany, France, Italy, India, China, and Japan


  • in France, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INSEE) there are 80 French companies with more than 10,000 employees.
