well, i have been coughing a lot lately but, im not sick at all my temperature is fine and stuff should I go to the doctor or, wat is wrong with me by the way i do ave to breat second-hand smoke occasionally Asthma is not just determined by a 'cough'. You could have allergies - most people are allergic to 2nd hand smoke. If you have phlegm build up in your throat so thick you can't take in air, your chest feels restricted, your wheezy and have intense pain in your chest, then maybe.
If you feel the cough is asthma, go to the dr.
