Digital Out Not playing to all Speakers

  • for some reason when i watch media through xbox media center it does not play out to the rear speakers.

    i currently use the monster 400x setup with optical auto to my dolby stereo. in games it plays to all speakers but not while im in xbmc. is there a setting i need to turn on to enable this?

  • ill look again, but what settings area? video? sound? pictures? last time i looked in video i could not find anything in there... ill get the version number when i get home.

    hints: 'enable digital output',optionally 'output stereo to all speakers'


  • you'll find the audio hardware stuff in system (there's also shortcuts from video and music sections). the output stereo to all speakers setting is one for each section (and thus located in both sections).
