can this be saved? PLEASE HELP!

  • Please let me know if this can be saved. I love this picture and it is soo hard to get them all together. I had a reflector next to him and the light was on the left. Can't believe he was blown. I think it is spill. Please let me know if you all think it can be saved. Thanks

    Cloned in a finger from the other hand, cloned out the foot and reflection, did some masked adjustment layers. A larger starting image would give better results.


    I vote for this one. It looks the best. Very natural and realistic looking, especially from a low-res photo. Nice work CPayton. :thumbup:

    I was trying to make their coloring, etc. look the same....like they are part of the same picture....it's a lil bright, but I think the coloring matches.

  • Here is my go at it. Used quick selection tool to fix the boys face by adj. levels. Removed the foot sticking out of the boys side and got rid of its shadow.

    After I posted this, I just noticed that the girl is giving everyone the finger. I am sure it was not intentional, :-).

  • ok, im confused now. traveler, did you edit the picture at all when you re posted it. I originally thought you did. But then I looked at the first post with the original picture. Is her middle finger really sticking out like that!? hahahahah if so, that is awesome!!!!!! :) but yea, I think the boy's face is recoverable

  • I figured I would clone out her feet but I was trying to bring color back into his face. In reality he is darker then his older sis! He almost looks ghostly
