can't set date

When I try to set the date, whatever I type, it shows up as something like Oct. 10th 1611 and an the main screen as Jan. 1st, 2004. This has been true ever since I installed xbmc (using AID 4.01)

Frogmaster, there's two way to get around this problem. You can either setup your xbox on the internet (via DHCP on Network settings) and the time and date will be updated automatically. :D

Or you can install a new skin. I'm using the XTV skin atm and it gives you an option to "set date". I'm not sure if the Project mayhem skin offers this? I may be wrong.

Set the time settings to get 'Enable Internet Time Synchronization' and then restart your Xbox.

You will be asked to set the MS Dash time again, set it correctly and the problem should go away!

quasid, i have the option to set the date, but when i do that it is screwed up.

i don't understand how dhcp could help. tried sntp and then the date is ok, but the time is GMT, no matter how i change my time zone (and how many reboots i do)
