Anyone actually tasted formula?

I was wondering whether it would be safe to taste

Would it be safe for an adult to taste formula or would it be dangerous i cant see how it would be but hey

And if you have tasted it what is it like

I was simply asking the question if you were going to be sarcastic why answer move onto something that you are interested in Ive tasted it and it tastes like warm milk with sugar in it. However, if its room temperature or cold, it stinks. I dont like the smell or taste of it. It smells and tastes a whole lot better when its really warm. Now i know why my baby makes that "yucky" face when she tastes formula. It has to be really warm for her to like it. If not, she hates the taste. Thats b/c i also breast feed her. She prefers bmilk way over formula but im doing both regardless. Try it but make sure its very warm. omg formula tastes *disgusting*!

I tasted my breastmilk out of curiosity and it was a little sweet but not unpleasant, but to me, formula just tasted wrong.

Of course it's safe to taste it though - would you give your baby something you couldn't have?

omg yes i did just the other day. my daughter is on the enfamil gentlease but for the past while she has been refusing it. so i had tasted it and i dont blame her one bit for not wanting that. it tasted so nasty i thought i was going to throw up. i cant even describe the taste. but i dont blame her for wanting my breast milk over that because my breast milk is sweeter tasting then that bitter junk..
yes i tasted my breastmilk.. just wondered what the baby was eating. very sweet but wouldnt drink bottles of it.. lol

if it is not safe for you to taste,,,(or drink) why would you feed it to your child???? yes it is fine to taste and actually i did about every bottle to test for temperature (too hot or cold for baby). it tastes like crap (especially the one my kids were on as it was "special formula". but it will not hurt you. (even tasted pumped breastmilk, to check for temp too)

ok given the fact that an adult stomach is like cast iron as compared to a babies it certainly ain't gonna kill you. its got everything your body needs to survive
similac tastes just about as bad as it smells.. don't know about the others.

I'll never forget the look on my husband's face one morning, when we were out of regular milk, so he squirted in some formula from our son's bottle - WOW did he make a sour face!!!

It wont harm you to taste it AND IM GLAD THERE TASTEBUDS ARENT FULLY DEVELOPED OTHERWISE WE WOULD HAVE SOME TROUBLE GIVING IT TO THEM

formula??u mean babys milk powder??then tasted it???i have eaten it...LOL...i used to have 1 spoon full of it when i would prepare milk for my nieces n nephew...lol...

Its nasty - which is why most babies who are breastfed then wont take formula.

i have tasted it, it is disgusting, which is probably why my 7 mth old wont drink it!!
