152=x+6/10x
152=x+3/5x
152=8/5x
How did you get 8/5x??? can anyone show me the steps or explain how x+3/5x equals 8/5x?
I have a test due today and I need to know how they got this answer. Thnka so much!!!
one is any number over itself, so for example, 1 = 8/8 or 192/192
so now look at the equation as:
152 = 1x + 3/5x
To make it easier to add, we convert everything to 1/5s
so
152 = 5/5x + 3/5x
5/5 + 3/5 = 8/5
so 152 = 8/5x
