displaying the cache shows that it is depleted to zero at the freeze. just after the share recreation, the cache stayed at around 75%.
how can we overcome this issue?
don't know what this is but, i have not been able to play a single video since i installed xbmc about a month ago (then it was the latest version). photos and music play fine. but movies, even thought they are all in the same share (fedora core4 mythtv server) starts caching and never comes back. frozen solid!
most of the time the whole machine is done. can't even http in anymore.
i was so disapointed and frustrated by it that haven't even looked at the logs to see what is going on. i went back to tinker with myth instead. at least there i can watch videos.
